FIFA World Cup 2023 Surface Replacement

As part of the 2023 FIFA World Cup surface replacement, Aqualines undertook the AAMI Park irrigation upgrade, carried out over two stages during the NRL season. With tight timeframes, Phase 1 was completed in just 3 days, focusing on the installation of new control valves, while Phase 2 involved a 5-day construction period where we worked closely with civil and turf contractors to deliver a new playing surface in time for the following weekend’s match.
